Gureyeh castle in Ivan County and Dareh- Shahr historical city were studied for the first time in 2009.

CHTN- It was the first time that the above said sites were studied by archeologists after revolution of Islamic Republic of Iran, said director Ilam CHTO Masood Eskandari.

Tel Shirvan historical hill belonging to Islamic- Sassanid era were inscribed on the country national heritage list under the entry number of 1310, he added.

The remains of the Sassanide city of Dareh Shahr is situated between new Dareh Shahr and the Bahman Abad Village. Presently, some vestiges of arches, ceilings, dome-shaped ceilings as well as indications of passages, alleys and urban connection network are visible in the texture of the ruins.
